A reader was kind enough to provide me some information regarding a question I was asking out loud regarding the first WTC bombing / attack.
He raised a very good point, perhaps without even realizing it – the point being that I must check my facts and even if asking something out loud, knowing that the answer is just a mouse click away…

I wonder what this next decade will bring. Hopefully it won’t be worse than this one, but I can’t see it being any better.

In “The Cult Of The Amateur”, Andrew Keen makes mention numerous times about the ills of having non-professionals becoming the media (so to speak) to where there is no line between professional and amateur. My only question would be, what exactly makes a professional opinion or statement factual??
I know that I’m going to be a lot more careful with what I post and more importantly how I post it – as context is just as important as content.
But I’m not going to stop. I feel that everyone is entitled to an opinion or viewpoint, and this is exactly what this site is meant to be.
Opinions and views / observations, and nothing more…
